Juan Calderon 
Golf Learning Center Manager
Juan is homegrown here in sunny Florida, with roots that reach back to Colombia! At the young age of ten, Juan found his new favorite hobby, golf. Just three short years later, at the age of thirteen, he decided to start volunteering at the beautiful Okeeheelee Golf Course. At just nineteen years old, Juan started actively instructing as a PGA apprentice, which ultimately led to a full-time career with Palm Beach County in 2013. In the past six years, Juan has not only graduated from Palm Beach State College with his Associate’s Degree in Business Management but has also excelled as a golf shop attendant at Park Ridge and as a Lead Clerk with John Prince Golf Learning Center, where he received the 2017 Rising Star Award. Juan served as Assistant Golf Course Manager at Park Ridge Golf Course and Okeeheelee Golf Course before accepting a promotion in November 2021 to become the Golf Course Manager at John Prince Golf Learning Center. Juan’s dedication and ambition have truly shone, and he is surely excited to see where his talents take him within Palm Beach County. Juan is the father of two beautiful children.
